WEEK SEVEN, Friday

Friday. Classes today. Of course, continued with the brick challenges after class. It stormed in the late afternoon and flooded the courtyard, which then flooded our laundry room in the basement. Oh my! Got a haircut in the evening and retired early. Looked forward to Saturday’s DC tour of Arlington Cemetery and monuments.

WEEK SEVEN, Thursday

Thursday. All day classes. It was pretty rough the day after International Night. PT was at the end of the day & slid in to the brick challenge exercises in the late afternoon. Texas night was up on tap. It was great! Ono brisket, fried chicken, & more! I was so full after that. So much fun!

WEEK SEVEN, Wednesday

Wednesday. We had our PT challenge today called the, “Winged Monkey Assault.” It was a rigorous session, but great nonetheless. 30 minutes of running, sprinting, & HIITS exercise. Great stuff! We then continued our brick challenges. Getting close to wrapping up the bricks. Later, we went to the Newseum in DC with our LE Image class. Great history there, but they are closing down soon. We are the last class to see it. In the evening, we had our international night. All of the international students dressed in their LE uniforms or national wear. It was awesome to experience everyone’s cultures. I ate Balut for the first time. It wasn’t that bad. A great day of fun and learning!
