THE WEEKEND, Saturday

Saturday. Didn’t do too much today. Mostly stayed on campus, to relax for the upcoming Gettysburg horse tour on Sunday. Went to the PX to shop & got a haircut at Kim’s in Garrisonville. Did a leisure half mile in the pool to unwind since it was a hot day. Ended at Umi’s Japanese restaurant for dinner. Food was pretty good after missing that in Hawaii. It was a good day.

WEEK THREE, Friday

Friday started off with classes. In media class, we are on the verge to do a stand alone interview with a former news reporter on Monday. Kind of apprehensive about it, but gotta do! In effective writing class, we did group skits to facilitate learning. That was fun! Later in the afternoon, got in the brick challenge activities (cycling & swimming only). Capped off the evening in Fredericksburg for Restaurant Week 2019 for dinner. We ate at Sedona Taphouse & made our way to Carl’s for some vintage 1950’s era ice cream. It was a blast with great friends!

WEEK THREE, Thursday

Today we had a full day of classes. One of the classes was an international panel forum to hear about law enforcement in other countries. It was a very insightful and intriguing forum to hear about law enforcement in other countries. We later had PT & it was great! After class, continued on the brick journey with cycling, lifting, & swimming. Capped the day with the international online forum posts and replys. Good stuff!

WEEK THREE, Wednesday

Started off the day right with “The Cyclone.” 17 minutes of pure fun! PT to its finest! Next up, got in some lifting, cycling, & swimming. A total physical morning. We later went to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in DC. Started to rain heavily. Everyone got wet. A very somber event to remember.
